Dept. of Human Anatomy & Physiology, UoN managed to donate two cadavers to Pwani University-School of Human & Health Sciences to be used by their medical students for learning and dissection. This was after the completion of their lab setting and introduction to lab maintenance and taking care of the cadavers.

Medical professionals, researchers, and students uses cadavers to study anatomy, locate illness areas, ascertain the causes of death, and obtain tissue for the purpose of mending defects in live humans. As part of their education, Pwani University-School of Human & Health Sciences students will need to study and dissect cadavers to gain more health science skills and knowledge for future career well-being. Students studying the arts and archaeology are among the others who examine cadavers. Furthermore, cadavers might be utilized in the research and development of surgical devices.
